Blending of Corrosive Liquids and the manufacture of Slurries
5000 Lt Stainless Steel tanks with full tank width rotary agitation blades ensures the quick and efficient dispersal of solid material such as starches into slurries and the dissolution of pellets or granules into solutions e.g. urea pellets
These vessels are capable of handling most corrosive materials and other dangerous goods.
Blending of Flammable Liquids
The 5,000 lt stainless steel propeller shaft blend vessels can manufacture flammable liquid and organic blends.
The liquids are blended by means of a stirring the solution into a vortex, whilst simultaneous reticulation is also an option.
Blending of Aqueous Solutions
All the vessels are capable of mixing aqueous solutions either in the propeller /vortex tanks or the slurry agitation tanks which will also disperse powders. Solutions can be homogenised if required and filtered. All liquids can be packed off into 1000 lt IBC's, drums or 25 lt polyboys and pails, or held in bulk storage for collection by road tanker.
Blending of Powder
A 2,700 lt stainless steel paddle blender is used to combine a variety of powders into homogeneous blends. Addition of liquids can be sprayed in to evenly apply a coating to the solids. All manner of chemical substances can be blended, including dangerous goods and hazardous chemicals.
For larger or continuous blends, we use our 5,000 lt Nauta Mixer, or we can incorporate our 80,000 lt silo and a splitting/ blending method that we employ when absolute homogeneity is required Blended products can subsequently be packed off into a variety of packages including bulk, drums, 25 bags or lesser packages.
