Often these materials have required various processes to be performed to make them saleable e.g. (repacking, crushing, blending, sieving, milling) and are offered at significantly reduce rate from the market price.

Some material may be past optimal use dates, have been repacked or we have been directed by the former owner of the stocks at the end of manufacturing campaigns to use or sell the product for what we can obtain for them, on their behalf
